We’ve been waiting for a while for this one. Since the end of May to be precise. We were chatting to some random folk during the International Music Summit in Ibiza, and it turned out that one of them happened to be Ben from Drumsound, the awesome production duo who together with Simon ‘Bassline’ Smith celebrate 10 years of their superb Technique Recordings label this year. “Fancy doing us a podcast?” we said. “Sure” he said.

Anyway, took a little bit of time to get it, but it was WELL worth the wait. After the smooth depths of our last two drum & bass podcasts (Alix Perez and Lynz & Kemo), we’re treated to a fiery blend of peak-time liquid flavours and plenty of rowdy jump-up killers – with a tinge of murky dubstep at the end, all mixed up into one hugely enjoyable high octane ride. Killer!

If you don’t know them, this is the perfect introduction – with plenty of hot bits from their label and some of the year’s biggest crowdkillers. Brum & bass!

Pirate Station in Samara, Russia in November. The production and vibe at their parties is truly epic. Seeing is believing.
