The second part of our Double Dutch fortnight focuses on the awesome Bingo Players. This duo have made serious waves over the last couple of years, combining that distinct thumping Dutch house sound with a little rolling groove, some choice vocals, and plenty of melody. Having graced labels like Strictly Rhythm, Defected and Flashover and appearing on dozens of compilations in Holland and across the world (
Pure Kandi, Toolroom Knights,
Sneakerz), their name is now a global commodity.
Their Podcast for us is packed with their own material – including some very special unreleased bootlegs. If you like what you hear, make sure you check their headline appearance at Liaison at Pacha London on Saturday 6

Where does your name come from?We couldn’t find a suitable name and then one night we had a few drinks and we came up with this. We thought it was too crazy but friends loved the name so we kept it.
How did you get into the game and how did you meet? First we were friends and then we found out we had the same taste in music. We started to produce together for a few years before we started Bingo Players.
Do you make tracks which are an expression of how you feel or which are something that will work on the dance floor? We think it’s a mixture of both. We always start with creating something that we feel and afterwards we try to apply some tricks to make it work on the dancefloor.
Where does all the energy in your productions come from?To create something that you really love, automatically triggers a lot of energy.
Do you prefer making beats or playing them? It’s both very satisfying!
