Formerly the lighting man at The End (yes he was the one responsible for sending you into a strobe-induced disco spaz), Saytek has grown to become one of the hottest names in underground techno in recent years. Setting himself aside from the Ableton click ‘n’ play masses, his fully live shows see him get hands on with a Roland Groovebox, a Kaoss Pad and more trickery to create a live show that is as visually engaging as it is sonically, and spontaneous as you like.
After playing for Ibiza legends Zoo Project as a resident and playing gigs at clubs and festivals all over the world, he recently released his second live album, and after much pestering we’ve finally got an all-new, exclusive unplanned live set out of him. What you hear is the sound of him doing it on the fly, whacking loops in and out of the mix and creating something that can never be truly replicated. From deep house to jacking tech, this is more than your average podcast.
