Another one we've been chasing for ages, Australian progressive house producer Jaytech first piqued our interest back in 2006 with his stunning team up with Matt Rowan, Tomorrow, and the follow-up Elysium. Gorgeous, melodic, uplifting prog with a tinge of trance but none of the OTTness. He soon crafted a style all of his own, fusing the sharpness of electro house beats and basslines with the euphorics and melodics of prog and soon found himself snapped up by Above & Beyond's Anjunadeep offshoot. There he continues to churn out innovative music that takes in elements of tech, house, trance, electro and tribal to stunning effect, with some absolute stunners along the way. Check out this year's In The Jungle and Ozone for proof.
This mix sees him serve up some tasty new productions alongside the best from his contemporaries, and gives a bit more indication as to the sounds and flavours that inspire him.
