You’ve got to hand it to French filthpot Brodinski. While on one hand masquerading as a dirty electro deviant alongside young upstart Yuksek, it’s techno where his heart seems to lie largely. And anyone who gets short-attention-spanned tight-jeaned nu-ravers into boshing, acid-line-filled, throbbing, big room techno is alright by us.
Production-wise, his highlight for us has been the hypnotic, drug-addled acid squelch of his remix of D.I.M.’s Is You, and seeing him rip apart the Bugged Out! Tent at Field Day in London last summer left us no doubts that he was a killer DJ. Witness his fine, twisted selection of bassy techno, chunked-up minimal, and off-kilter tech house in this week’s Podcast.
What's your personal favourite track on it?
It's the Milton Channels one, Black is Black on Music X Press - it's an amazing tool, the bass is MASSIVE! But the Dandi e Ugo remix is really good too!
What's the special ingredient in this mix?
The Joris Voorn remix is good for make the link between the 2 different parts of this mix. The first part is really electro house, with some Get Physical new released weapon, and the second one is totally my style, bassy techno stuff.
What's the best gig you've played recently?
WAX:ON @ Stylus, Leeds. An amazing party into an university, really good crowd, and an amazing soundsystem. I love this party, one of the best in my life.
What have you got coming up?
My EP is coming out in Turbo Recordings, Oblivion, and I prepare remix for Radioclit and a lot of others stuff...but I keep that for me for the moment...
