What ARE they putting in the water up in Scotland? Mylo, Calvin, Grum, Burns...what is it about that cold, grey climate that breeds top-draw electro talent? Who knows, but they're all doing pretty bloody well for themselves.
Burns' remixes for the likes of Empire Of The Sun, Gossip, Yuksek, Linus Loves and Filthy Dukes have shown that he's a dab hand at beefing tracks up a filthy mite, while his original productions like the joyous Heartbeats (would sit pretty happily on a Daft Punk album no?)point fingers in the direction of a very decent debut album for 2010.
In his Podcast, he's mixed up a load of the '80s electro funk that influenced him in his formative years, alongside 'nuff big techno and electro belters from the last few months. A damn fine party mix. Put it on when the guests are getting a bit tipsy and watch them go into overdrive when Intro and that special punch you made kick in...

Ibiza Rocks - just an amazing setting! I love Ibiza! Even though it’s tainted a bit now it still has an amazing vibe!
What have you got coming up?
My third EP is out - the Teknique EP which is already getting amazing responses (the title track is a big old ‘90s-influenced monster!) then a 4th EP later in the year featuring 4 original tracks! I will also be supporting Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris on tour throughout October and November. On top of all this I’m putting the finishing touches to my Album which will be out late spring/early summer 2010!
