The first programmes for the annual Amsterdam Dance Event have been revealed, taking place from 20 - 23rd October 2010 at the canalside Felix Meritis conference centre.
Key speakers include seminal new wave band Tom Tom Club (responsible for proto-dance classics like Wordy Rappinghood), who will be talking about their experiences in the nascent dance scene of the early '80s, and Miles Leonard whose keynote lecture title 'How He Saved Kylie's Career And How He's Going To Do The Same For Parlophone (and by extension the very idea of major labels)' says it all.
Other discussions confirmed so far include Happy Accidents - concerning the unintentional but fruitful mishaps that sometimes occur in studios - and Finding The Tribes, which is about the different tribes in music over the years and in present day.
They are also taking submissions for label and roster showcase parties at this page - so if you've got a load of talent to show off, get in touch.
Also don't miss out on the 30% off ADE passes offer which is currently running. Remember that it usually sells out, so getting your ticket as early as possible is a great idea.
