Every summer, droves of young Hungarians and other Central European types descend on one of Europe’s largest lakes, Lake Balaton, for their summer hols. Aside from the vast beaches and watersports, there are also a lot of excellent parties.
Heineken Balaton Sound (July 9
th – 11
th) is one of the biggest, brought to you by the people who put on the annual Sziget festival in Budapest that we’ve spoken so highly of in previous years. They’ve announced their first headline acts as The Chemical Brothers and Jamiroquai, who puts on an excellent live show.
On the DJ side of things, they’ve got Sven Väth, Paul Kalkbrenner and Paul Van Dyk all confirmed so far.
