The next set of Creative Grants from The Smirnoff Co., given to budding promoters to realise their visions of innovative party ideas, have been granted.
The winners, who receive £5000 each, are:
Forties to The Noughties @ Concorde 2, Brighton – Saturday 13th March A party that incorporates 7 different New Year’s Eve parties from the last 7 decades – one every hour – with The Freestylers headlining.
Prism Party @ Pattern Cutting Factory, London – Friday 30th April A design factory in East London’s Dalston will be transformed into a maze of seven rooms, each themed according to the different colours of the spectrum. Guests are asked to dress in white.
Rumble in the Jungle @ Eden Project, Cornwall – Friday 7th May This one sounds superb – Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Benga, Krafty Kuts and A-Skillz play in different areas of the complex, which features masses of botanical gardens and beautiful architecture, with trapeze artists, lazer displays and exploration of the Project’s biomes on offer.
Kreatures @ Corsica Studios, London – Saturday 12th June A living breathing installation will be created at the award-winning South London venue, with animatronic figures dotted around the venue being driven by music by the likes of Untold, while street artist and sculptor
Tristan Schoonraad creates unique live art installations amongst the crowds.
