Any parents out there who don’t mind taking their kids to festivals but wouldn’t mind a night off here and there – help is at hand.
The UK’s first ever dedicated festival childcare providers Boutique Babysitting have launched, giving weary parents a bit of help when they take their offspring to festivals. So far the service will only be available at The Big Chill and Latitude, but if it’s a hit, expect to see it on offer far and wide.
Lisa Merrick-Lawless, Co-Founder of Boutique Babysitting, commented: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Festival Republic and residence at Latitude and The Big Chill, where we hope to add a little extra something to the experience of these fantastic family-friendly festivals. Like every parent that’s ever taken their child to a festival, we know exactly what it is like: you love having your kids there but even the most dedicated parent needs a break sometimes!
“With Boutique Babysitting we wanted to offer parents that precious respite from looking after their children 24/7, whilst giving children some amazing festival memories of their very own kids club.”
Prices are £48 per 4 hour session, maximum of one session per child per day.
Sessions run from 7:00 – 11am and 7:30 – 11:30pm daily.
