Heroes of the North Wax:On and Metropolis have announced that they are to merge their promotions companies and work together as Electronic Music Group Ltd.
Wax:On are famed for their house, techno and electro parties, while Metropolis have been tearing Leeds up for years with rowdy drum & bass, dubstep-, reggae and hip-hop parties. Together they leave few stones unturned. Alongside their own brands, the company will also run and promote events including Annie Mac presents..., Reclaim The Dancefloor Ibiza & UK, Hospitality Leeds, Cocoon Newcastle, Musicology Leeds and Jagerbomb
They kick off their partnership with a join event on September 25th at Leeds University, open to non-students too and featuring Calvin Harris DJ set, Andy C, Fake Blood, Benga, Toddla T, Krafty Kuts, Joy Orbison, Nero, Doorly, Redlight, Boy 8 Bit, L-Vis 1990, Roska, and Wax:On residents, Eskimo Twins. Huge.
