Dice disses Diddy

Speaking to Australian site www.inthemix.au, Loco Dice has been laying into Diddy about his attempted assimilation into the dance music scene,

“It’s the most cheesiest way to bring Puff Daddy up into the game" he said "Puffy [only] discovered that electronic music is big because he was on his yacht in Ibiza and he’s like, ‘so what’s going on with this island? No hip hop, only techno, ok let’s go to this party. I’m a superstar, I go to the VIP and talk to these guys, I wanna do it too.’ Well, that’s his way, it’s not my way.” It's true that Loco Dice's transition from hip-hop to house and techno began when his friends took him to Ibiza - but it's also clear that his new-found passion was pursued with much more vigour, enthusiasm and passion than Diddy.

Strangely, Felix Da Housecat - a good friend and collaborator with Diddy - contradicted himself somewhat on the same matter during his recent interview with us. "I don’t like when people are on one sound and they want to get on something new to get on the bandwagon" he claimed. "I’d rather like to see people evolve into it – kinda like The Neptunes ‘cos they were always fans of techno and electronic music." Hmm!
