Stefanno (Rosca Stefan) and Julianno (Petrariu Iulian) both hail from the northern Romanian city of Suceava. The twenty-something duo progressed from the decks to the studio, with the original mix of Stonehenge selected as the anthem for the 2009 Trance Vibrations event, and their remix of Ummet Ozcan’s Timewave Zero making it onto Judge Jules Radio 1 show.
Hungarian duo Mac & Monday (aka David Nemeth and Norbert Darvas) deliver the goods via their Senua alias, with this remix specially released on its lonesome by é Musica. Things start off with a quirky riff and edgy minimal percussion before the bassline purrs into action. A bleepy electro melody gets added into the blend; with lots of trippy little background sounds giving further detail. At the break an echoing, epic style riff takes over, making proceedings a bit trancier until the bassline wobbles back in. A quirky, favourable first impression of Mac & Monday’s remixing skills.
