Velvetine is made up of Hungarian production duo Myon & Shane 54 and vocalist Aruna Adams. The latter worked magic with Everywhere You Are, a collaboration with Mike Shiver that appears on Anjunabeats, Vol. 7. The present track is a similar in more than name. It goes heavy on the pads, phased-out guitar plucks, and of course, Aruna’s complex vocal textures.
The Ian Flux and Thomas Blofeld remixes add some ravey square-wave arpeggios to the mix, and The Rank 1 Remix lays the vocal against lovely gated pads.
