Gabriel & Castellon kick off the proceedings with a pleasingly tribal affair in Tu Bimba, but without the clutter of the tribalism of old. A fizzing two-tone riff gives a slightly techy tinge, and the whole thing chugs and stomps with much vigour. A good set building block. Kid Martinez & Little Martinez’s A Si gets a bit saucy, laden with naughty Spanish vocals and dainty synth arpeggios amidst its cool, crisp electro house sounds, while Alex Guesta feat. David Goncalves’ club mix of Can’t Fight The Feeling goes stompier and more Latin still – very Swedish House Mafia – while the original is a bit more in the commercial vein, with a little rip from Hysteric Ego’s Want Love. Danny Dove & Nathan C’s That Trumpet Track takes a lively trumpet improvisation and layers it over a bouncy, infectious beat, rounding off in a very summery vibe.
