A full release here, for a track that failed to make it onto Abe Duque's Don't Be So Mean album, and a track that can only be described as a big bastard of a beast.
Hypocrisy is the sort of tough house track that Jamies Jones is doing so well right now too, managing to keep things dark & twisted but still funked out and warm. A seriously sleazy bass-line is complimented by huge trancey analogue synths and dramatic strings to create a bold, loud and brash track.
Process rope in the pairing of prog god John Digweed and his studio partner Jim Muir for a remix. They very sensibly keep all the elements of the original in place but notch the whole affair up a few gears, resulting in a very slick interpretation . As an added bonus a dub remix is on offer too, which tones things down a touch. So, another super tight production from one of the best producers on the scene and a couple of smooth remixes from one of the most respected disc jockeys on the planet.
If you have not heard this yet, go do so.
