Baggi Begovic appears to be in a fuss-free mood on this new
track. It’s all about keeping it simple and not cluttering the track. It’s a
big room roller, focusing around a heady ethnic chant, with big womps of bass
and uplifting accordion-esque melodies in the break – chunky, classy peak time
house just like Stealth boss Roger Sanchez likes it, basically.
Saeed Younan toughens things up on the flip, a touch darker
and deeper with increased tribal undertones, and removing the melodies the fill
the original’s mid section. The breakdown in particular stretches out the chant
in question to epic proportions and builds things up to a high peak for that
tribal groove to smack back in hard against. A very worthy set builder, laced
with atmosphere and funk. Fans of DJs who push the trippier, more epic side of
techno – your Svens and Timos for instance – should dig this juicy cut.
