A solid as you like bass kick forms a solid foundation for this track, along with some really well constructed atmospherics, FX and background noises. The bass is your standard off beat fare, but it’s easily overlooked by the depth of noise that is here. The vocal sample is ok and doest really add anything until the breakdown, when a very UK hard trance sounding synth takes centre stage.
Some excellent time warping effects latter and it’s all off again, and whilst there is some excellent work gone into this, for me the riff sound doesn’t quite work how it was supposed to. Even a cheeky key change can’t stop me from giving this more than a 7.
