Tom Cloud - Pictures

Tom Cloud has been pushing out some top draw tunage for some time and the German producer / dj continues the high standard with this double A-side on Dutch trance maestro Tiesto's In Trance We Trust label.

Carpe Diem is a pumpin prog trancer if ever there was one, and the vocal mix adds another dimension to the track for those of a sing a long nature. It's the second track, Pictures, that really stands out as an epic, prog trancer with enough energy to take the dancefloor on one without resorting to huge drops, massive breaks and builds-up. With a groovy energy and a lush, melodic lead line the track is a sure fire winner whether early doors or late on and has worked wonders at The Gallery at Ministry of Sound whenever I've wheeled it out.
