It's been a busy time of late for Pioneer with the launch of a smorgasbord of new DJing tech arriving in the last few months that has seen both bedroom and club DJs alike writing up a fresh wishlist of the brands new kit on offer. Following on from their re-entry into the vinyl turntable market Pioneer have now presented us with the DDJ-SX2. It is the industry’s first controller to give DJs native manipulation of the software’s latest upgrade – Serato Flip – unveiled this week. The four-channel DDJ-SX2 aims to build on the popularity of its predecessor, but inherits two must-have features fromthe top-flight DDJ-SZ: Performance Pads with multi-coloured cue point LEDs and on-jog digital cue point markers. On top of that, this controller is Serato DJ DVS upgrade-ready and boasts improved jog wheel latency, making it ideal for all of you scratch DJs out there.
