Following their sold out weekend take over at The Waiting Room for Ulrich Schnauss’s ‘A Long Way To Fall’ album launch, Inverted Audio and Electronic Explorations collaborate again to present a NOTOWN Records label showcase at Elektrowerkz in Angel, London on Saturday 6th April 2013.
With a heavy leaning towards other worldly strands of techno and house, self-styled ambassador of art school electronica Luke Abbott made waves with his Border Community debut album ‘Holkham Drones’ in 2011. Strengthening his credentials last year with two EP releases ‘Modern Driveway’ and ‘Object Is A Navigator’ on NOTOWN Records a big 2013 is expected for Mr. Abbott and we look forward to seeing him headline with his live show more frequently from now on so we can watch him really drive forward his own unique brand of techno into the small hours.
Support in chief comes Dam Mantle with his refined blend of ambient electronica, jazz and hip hop- think J Dilla cross poliinated by Daedalus and you won't be far off. Further down the line-up from the noir electronica specialist shine's a spotlight on some of the labels big hopes for the coming years in DJ sets from Wesley Matsell, Mister Sushi and Antepop with a visual extranganza provided by Dan Tombs.
So for a night of eclectic, grown up IDM this april look now further as those crafty cats at Notown look to have this event sewn up!
