London-based promoters What Matters are set to present a brand new and unique concept for London clubbing – the 501 Series which far from being a new levi’s advert will see nine monthly events taking place at unconventional venues around London with one headline DJ, in anintimate space with no bigger than 500 capacity creating the perfect environment for a serious underground party.. all night long. Featuring some of the biggest names in house, deep-house techno, nu-indie and nu-disco all playing exclusive 6-8 hour sets, the 501 Series looks set to raise the bar in terms of London events providing a unique, memorable, intimate and exclusive experience for serious music lovers.
Kicking off the series they’re welcoming one of the most important names on the house / tech house scene in Spanish producer Uner. With releases on esteemed labels such as Cadenza, Diynamic, Get Physical, 2020 Vision, Cecille and Visionquest Uner’s music flows out of clubs like Berlin’s Watergate, Spacein Ibiza and festivals like Sonar, Monegros and Rock in Rio.
Uner will be undertaking an exclusive 6 hour set especially for the 501 Series so remember to pack your bags and expect to be taken on a journey through house and techno . For this event they’ve selected one of London’s most innovative venues - the Westbourne Studios - located on Acklam Road this venue fits the 501 ethos perfectly. It’s unique, it’s chic and has a great sound system included and we’re positive this will be the perfect launch pad for this series of events.
This event will be an official warm up party for Vertigo Festival, a brand new festival taking place in the heart of the Italian Mountains from 15th – 17th August 2013. Future events will welcome Audiofly, Oliver Huntemann, Pig & Dan, Livio & Roby, Noir, Monika Kruse, Todd Terje, Kink & Neville Watson Live. Exciting stuff.
