The boundaries between fashion and electronic music have become increasingly blurred of late with collections being compiled by promotional outfits and producers alike. First there was news of London scenesters Urban Nerds release of a limited edition collection and then yesterday we shared how tech-house producer Sante was also set to enter the clothing market with his music inspired garment range A Votre and today we can reveal that Diesel are to present a collaborative range with EDUN inspired by Africa.

Apparently inspired by African creativity, the collection is manufactured in Africa with the reputedly high quality CCI cotton from Uganda. The Spring denim collection has be manufactured in Africa and will be worn by a new generation of creative talents as to be showcased on upcoming boiler room performances In Tokyo, Paris, London, Berlin and LA.

To bring the spirit of the 25-piece collection to life, DIESEL+EDUN developed the concept of Studio Africa  as a platform for a new generation of creative talents from across the continent. Studio Africa will launch with a series of collaborative, global live events with Boiler Room to bring together African and Western musicians  together in a celebration of creativity beyond borders.

London’s Tuesday edition of the popular live stream will see performances from Omar S, Theo Parrish, Actress, Kyle Hall, and Funkineven alongside some of the hottest African talent for one of the strongest line-ups we can remember seeing on the Boiler Room in recent memory. Can’t wait!
