Minus have had to shift the dates of two of their European Contakt parties this winter - but fear not UK readers, the London date is still the same! Words from the mouth of Mr. Hawtin himself:

"Due to the integrity of the entire Contakt experience and performance we must announce last minute changes to some of the upcoming Contakt tour dates.
Due to problems that some of our partners have come up against to provide all the necessary technical requirements for the Contakt stage design and LED lighting & visuals, we have been forced to change two of the upcoming Contakt dates. We've had to make these decisions based upon our expectations of what a Contakt event should be, what the audience can expect to experience, and to maintain the high quality level that we demonstrated at Contakt Sonar.

Because of this we have decided to move two of the upcoming dates; the Belgium 10 Days Off Contakt show will now be a regular Minus showcase and the full Contakt show will now be part of the I Love Techno event on Saturday Nov 22. In addition we have decided to move the Canadian Montreal Contakt date, and will be announcing new details on the new date and location shortly. We regret that this information has come so late, but we have been working with all of our involved partners to come up with last minute ideas/possibilities to insure that these Contakt shows are all they are supposed to be!

For everyone involved Contakt is a new type of show and we thank all of the promoters who continue to support this new idea and look forward to the upcoming Contakt shows. As well, our Contakt development team are hard at work on adding some new features to the Contakt shows & Contakt Membership experience that we will announce shortly, so stay tuned!

Honestly, we are disappointed about having to make any changes to our original scheduled dates/locations, but we feel strongly that the above changes truly present the opportunity to have the best possible Contakt events in each case.
