Amidst all the Justices, the Surkins, the SebastiAns, the Brodinskis and all the other leaders of the French electro vanguard of recent years, there’s been a few big talents who haven’t received quite the props they’ve deserved. Probably by virtue of the fact that they’d already been around for years and so weren’t fresh blood. But Alex Gopher is a man who demands your attention – from his classic material in the ‘90s like The Child and his work on the seminal Super Discount project through to his modern day rock & rave electro bangers, he’s made a huge contribution to the French scene along with his like-minded colleague Etienne De Crecy.

In celebration of the recent release of his My New Remixes compilation, Monsieur Gopher shows us some of the material therein and some of his current top choices in this rousing, euphoric mix.
