After 15 years of flying the flag for Dutch techno, the awesome Secret Cinema has announced that he'll be launching his own label, Gem Records, this December.
 
The philosophy behind Gem is to only sign music that will become timeless, regardless of which genre they may be categorised as now...we're told. He debuted the label with a showcase during Amsterdam Dance Event, with plans to do more parties throughout Europe.

The first release comes from Egbert, who features on Sven Vath's new Sound Of The 10th Season compilation, and who releases a 12" on Cocoon in November. It's called Dezelfde Weg EP, and has been thoroughly road-tested by SC over the summer. It comes with a remix from the label boss himself.
