You shouldn't believe everything you read in the tabloids. The Daily Star are reporting that Eric Prydz and James Blunt are set to collaborate. Yes that’s right, one of our best-loved musicians and our most despised. It’s like a horrible nightmare. And according to Prydz's PR, it's a load of bollocks.

According to the report on the Star website, a chance meeting at boutique residence Hotel Es Vive’s in-house club Experience allegedly inspired Prydz to work on a remix for Blunt’s new album Some Kind Of Trouble. Considering how few remix requests he accepts (Faithless, Switch and Sven Väth being amongst the chosen few), it’s all the more difficult to believe. Turns out that the rumour was started by a rather over-zealous PR working for Es Vive, and we can be assured that this is never going to happen.

Prydz partied down at Es Vive back in July after he decided he wanted to take his crew down there after the main event at Sands in Playa D'en Bossa - DT’s Ben Gomori ended up playing back-to-back with his pal Dana Berguist at the intimate little venue, which is famed for its legal afterhours crack-ons. We didn't spot no Blunt there (who lives on the island), but perhaps he was lurking in a corner telling a girl how "Beautiful" she was.
