As we recently revealed in our interview with the man himself, German disco and house hero Tensnake has mixed his debut compilation for Defected’s In The House series.
Out on September 27th, the double CD combines various throwback flavours, from disco-inspired grooves and ‘80s Italo flavour through to ‘90s piano house revivalism. “I started buying vinyl in the ‘90s and was really into vocal house and deep house” says the man otherwise known as Marco Niemerski. “It was also my first proper experience of going out and partying. I think that the 90’s were definitely the most important period in my life, music-wise. I was a massive fan of DJ Sneak and Romanthony and all the US house guys.”It promises to be an absolute delight, and will be out on September 27th on CD and digital, and with two accompanying taster EPs.
