Chase & Status will be joined by legendary DJ's
Carl Cox,
Erick Morillo and
John Digweed for SW4's Weekender at Clapham Common this year.
They will be taking advantage of the extra hour the festival has this year, and Carl Cox in particular is pretty excited about his appearance:
“It’s amazing to be returning to Clapham this year for South West Four.
It’s without a doubt a festival with one of the best atmospheres and being
where it is means all my friends and family get to join me – another one of the
reasons I truly love playing this festival. This year, I am back but hosting
the main stage – of course a great honour and I’m seriously looking forward to
rocking SW4."
Cox needs no introduction, the techno producer being a consistent variable for over 25 years, and his previous performances have been cited as some of the best ever seen at SW4.
Following Cox comes an exclusive UK performance from the smooth house machinations of Erick Morillo. SW4 had him at their inaugural event, and his mantra has remained firm throughout his illustrious career. Expect infectious grooves in his first London performance for over 17 months.
Finally, John Digweed will be bringing the versatility. An ideology that has always seen him push boundaries, his mighty Bedrock imprint has provided tunes that have been a constant echo for a generation of people.
