Stay Out All Night

There’s really not too much to this Miami biggie – the hype surrounding it concerns its simplicity and the departure from Wink’s usual stylings that it represents. Energetic, old skool hi-hat patterns simmer and cascade across the track, verging on speed garage, and a dusty old organ loop rolls along in the background. A higher pitched organ riff drops in unexpectedly, jazzy and playful, later some splashy techno cymbal rides – and how could Josh resist just a sprinkling of primitive, understated acid to top it all off. Oh and did we mention the very deep, bumping bass tones? It’s fun, summery, and has a cool funky outro. Lovely!

The No Organ mix takes out the top end organ, while the Dub focuses on said organ for an even sunnier, sexier vibe.

A big record that is unlikely to get spoiled through overplays. Get your organ out!
